There are a number of ways that you can check the version of the eSpect. Depending how you have configured your netscaler you can connect directly using an SCP client such as WinSCP. Navigate to and check the version of the following file:
/var/vpn/patch_TDC/EPAFactory.dll
You could also check in C:\ProgramData\Citrix\AGEE on Vista and Win7. This is where the DLL is downloaded to.
You could also check the top of the log file when client logging is enabled, it will state ‘eSpect AGEE Scans Vx.x.x.x’
